Semmes, AL (April 26, 2018) – The politically active group Conservative Christians of Alabama has announced they are endorsing Republican Rusty Glover to be Alabama’s Lieutenant Governor.
“Earning the endorsement of the Conservative Christians of Alabama means a great deal to me,” states Glover. “My faith guides me every day and I’m honored to have the support of Christians from across the state.”
Conservative Christians evaluates candidates on issues dealing with pro-family, and pro-life values; as well as, issues such as anti-illegal immigration and tax increases. CC of AL believe that Republican office holders should act like Republicans.
“I’m proud to be the people’s choice for lieutenant governor. Giving voters someone to be proud of in Montgomery is very important to me.”
Senator Glover, who worked as a teacher in Mobile County Public Schools for 25 years, has served in the Senate since 2007.
The Republican primary election is Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

As a native of Mobile, Glover has served in the Alabama Legislature for 16 years as a member of Alabama House of Representatives (2002-2006) and Senate (2006-present). Glover is a graduate of B.C. Rain High School, Faulkner State Community College and the University of South Alabama. He retired after 25 years of teaching from Mary G. Montgomery High School in Semmes, where he lives with his wife, Connie. Together they have two daughters, Kellie and Katie; a son-in-law, John McGraw; and a new grandson, Beau Monroe McGraw.
